High School Sports-The Anal Rape Connection

This doesn't happen in geometry classes or even reasonable student activities like the science fair.

All of this school spirit stuff…athletics, cheerleading, student government, leads to very unpleasant things. It is time to either abolish it completely or only make it available as a "pay for service" arrangement with an administrative surcharge attached.

abolish it? "pay for service"? You might enjoy it, but being 300 lbs before your 16th birthday isn't what other people want for their kids. I believe I also heard the lack of team-building, discipline-forging, physical activities for children in America is leading to a lot of kids becoming, what do you call it? ...Fucking losers?

Shove it. It's supervision in the locker rooms. I know plenty of folks who were student athletes and participated in science fairs and other academia. Getting rid of sports isn't the answer.
