Demographics have been changing in the past 25 years for PWC. The older sections are primarily still blue collar and have seen considerable black and white flight. The newer sections/developments are almost exclusively white collar. For example drive down Davis Ford RD, explore the gated communities around Dominion Valley, the golf communities around Lake Manassas, etc. and check out the number of million dollar + homes on large lots. (The type of houses you (and I) will never be able to afford.) Many folks move from FFX because they can afford a "dream house" that otherwise would be unobtainable in FFX CO. In the entire country PWC ranks #10 ( FFX #4) in median household income. Both well within the top 1% in the U.S. However, Fairfax's numbers are on the decline as PWC continues to rise.
