it's because they are very rarely held accountable. if other cops do nothing, then they are all guilty of a crime.

i havent complained about a cop blowing away anyone that is armed. it's when they kill unarmed people and there are no repercussions that really gets me.

actually, the psychological profile of your typical cop is closer to that of a criminal than a normal person. cops need closer supervision and they need to be held accountable for their actions.
