god this forum is getting some retards lately....why wear shorts...in the summer....................BECAUSE ITS HOT. fuck. #2...this is not montgomery county underground. are you saying it's ok for the police to violate the law? i do believe it's that kind of arrogance that is the root of people's hatred of the police. that and the fact that they get away with everything from speeding to murder. cops are just pussies with a badge and a gun.

People hate knowing they want to commit a crime but may get caught!!!
The problem is that the people see one bad cop and they want to believe that all cops are like that. They also see a cop doing something or read a cop did something and have no idea why.
Then they believe anything they want that is likely to be negative. The cop is speeding for.. fun? He shot and killed a man.... it must have been a planned murder!!
Often times there is a good and valid reason something happened. But that does not matter!! All that matters is that "If a citizen did it they would be getting a ticket or in jail!!"
Obviously!! The citizen is not being sent to a fight or having to draw down on armed subjects. This is not their job.
Just like there are a few citizens that are criminals... not all are criminals. But cops do not fall into that same situation.... all for one and one for all!!

Gravis, Gravis, Gravis. Is there anyone you like? Personally, I would not want to deal with the nasty, rude "public". It takes more patience than I could ever muster. Ever been spat on when you were trying to help someone? Ever have a battered woman attack you when you were trying to take her "husband, BF, whatever in to custody?" Ever meet someone who is willing to give their life for a total stranger? Even you? My dad was in law enforcement. He was not perfect but he was/and is, my hero. BTW.....he speeds like hell but he can handle it.

i havent complained about a cop blowing away anyone that is armed. it's when they kill unarmed people and there are no repercussions that really gets me.

actually, the psychological profile of your typical cop is closer to that of a criminal than a normal person. cops need closer supervision and they need to be held accountable for their actions.

I don't know about the psychological profile of a cop. There are good and bad in every walk of life. Would you really want Bill Gates or Mr. Rodgers out there dealing with violent crack dealers? Dr. Phil and Oprah could handle them. She'd kick their butts and he'd fix their heads. Or worse yet, someone like James Manson? If all our cops were like him the gangs would leave for good. We could start naming all the bad. Bad Preists, Rabbis, teachers, coashes, parents. I understand that not all people are good, honest people. But I honestly cannot think of a group of people that take more abuse than police officers. Think about it. Really think about it. Just about everybody abuses them in some manner. What must it be like to get that domestic violence call? You know you have to go. You know you need to protect a person who may spit on you for it. Yet, you are there to help them.
