Man Charged With Resisting Arrest, Assault and Battery
The Falls Church police department supplied the following incident and arrest information. If an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 31-year-old Vienna man was charged with resisting arrest after he ran from Falls Church City Police following a fight.
According to a report, police were called to a business in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. for a fight. When they arrived, the Vienna man ran off and was chased down, according to the report.
The man was also charged with three counts of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.
In separate and unrelated incidents:
Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of assault by intimidation in the 900 block of Ellison St. on June 4.
A 60-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with trespassing in the 200 block of S. Washington St. on June 5.
A 24-year-old Washington, D.C. man was charged with grand larceny in the 800 block of S. Washington St. on June 6.
A 29-year-old Burke man and a 35-year-old Arlington man were charged with smoking in a non-designated area in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on June 7.
A 45-year-old Springfield man was charged with smoking in a non-designated area in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on June 8. A 46-year-old Falls Church man was charged with permitting smoking in a non-designated area.
Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 1200 block of W. Broad St. on June 8.
Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of shoplifting in the 1200 block of W. Broad St. on June 8.
Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of an iPhone stolen in the 7100 block of Leesburg Pike on June 8.
Falls Church City Police are investigating a report of personal items stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Lincoln Ave. sometime on May 31.
