Gerry Connolly Defeated
Posted by: Bye Bye Chopra ()
Date: June 11, 2013 09:59PM

Tuesday’s unofficial results showed Northam won the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor with 55 percent of the vote, defeating his opponent Aneesh Chopra. Chopra conceded around 9 p.m.

Team Gerry Connolly put their whole-hearted support, strategy, time, and money behind Aneesh Chopra.

Too bad.

Not.

I could not vote for Chopra because of that whole driving down the W&OD trail thing that happened last week.

Poor choices.

Moo

Interesting. I thought Chopra would win with his enormous marketing campaign. I seriously considered voting for him, but I am uncomfortable with his 'young man on the move' persona. Too often that translates into blatant self-aggrandizement and naked ambition. At this point, I prefer someone with some mileage on him whose life does not revolve around political advancement.

Why does a liberal always declare a voter is racist if the voter disagrees with a candidate's political views--and the candidate happens to have a darker skin tone than the average white person? By that logic, no one can disagree with any candidate--or indeed, any individual--who has a skin color darker than him/herself and not be considered a racist. Does it ever work the other direction in Liberal Land? Are darker skinned people ever racist against lighter skinned people? Probably not.

Connolly is a repellant little snot who weaseled his way out of a drunk driving charge. He votes in lock step with Obama and Pelosi.

They do this because they have nothing else that is a legitimate argument. Always talk and no action

But of course its just a one way street. Liberals can viciously attack black conservatives and its NEVER racist.

Yet another liberal hypocrisy. We'll add it to the list.

As one of Gerry's kids, I agree, we were defeated, but not by much! We will be back. Count on it. In case you didn't hear what the other side is saying:

Voting for $1 billion in tax hikes.
Supporting Obamacare.
Cozying up to Union Bosses.
Opposing Virginia energy solutions.

Meet the Democratic ticket – Terry McAuliffe, Ralph Northam, and Mark Herring. The #TaxHikeTrio.

It’s hard to imagine a group of candidates more antithetical to job creation and economic growth. There’s a clear contrast between the comprehensive policies Ken has put forward on jobs, workforce development, energy and tax reduction, and what the Democratic ticket represents: an extension of the same failed Washington policies that have put our country on the wrong track.

But we all know it isn’t that simple!

McAuliffe and company will use the celebrity status of people like Michelle Obama and Joe Biden to raise millions. Likewise, the union bosses they’ve fought so hard to protect are sure to return the favor, kicking in a lot more to help all three candidates advance their anti-business agenda.

They’ll run millions of dollars in false and misleading ads across Virginia. Terry McAuliffe has proven he’ll say and do anything to get elected, and you can only expect the attacks to intensify now that the Democrats have selected an equally out-of-step ticket they can rally behind.

You have a choice.

Ken believes in cutting taxes rather than raising them; in repealing job-killing legislation like Obamacare rather than perpetuating it; in empowering business owners rather than union bosses; and in expanding energy production right here in Virginia rather than bowing to liberal special interests.

If you agree with the vision Ken has put forward, I’d urge you to join us today. With your help at the grassroots level, we CAN and WILL stop the Democratic machine!

Sincerely,
Dave Rexrode

P.S. – Virginia Democrats picked three candidates who are anti-jobs and pro-tax. Let's show them that we want to keep Virginia moving forward.

"Darkie"? Really??

Racist, much?

Unfortunately, it's all too clear that Virginia Democrats still carry the burning cross of racial hatred.

There was a cat from NoVA running last election. (And I mean a cat cat not a cool cat kinda cat.) He actually got some votes.

Don't know if he's in the running this time or not. The better choice if so.
