There are a lot of varying polls but you also have to keep in mind that not all firearms owners will admit to pollsters. Some polls also ask how many "registered" firearms and in some states "registration' is either non-existent
or illegal.

How about the tremendous spike in firearms sales since Obummer took office?
I saws this morning where Smith & Wesson stocks are through the roof and most
American manufacturers can't keep up with demand. :)
