Dispute Leads to Homicide; Police Arrest Suspect
A 29-year-old Lincolnia-area man was killed during a dispute early Sunday morning. Police were called to the 6300 block of Parramore Drive at 7:30 a.m. on April 6 for a reported stabbing. Officers located the victim, Moises Chirinos-Lopez, deceased inside the home. They determined Lopez was stabbed in the upper body.
An investigation led patrol officers to a home in the City of Alexandria. With the aid of the Alexandria City Police Department, the suspect was located and taken into custody outside the home.
Edis Aldolfo Reyes, 35, of no fixed address, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with one count of murder. This is the fifth homicide in Fairfax County this year.
