The ones in nova fill up quick, so there's probably nothing for a while. Sign up and wait.

The local NOVA classes usually have a long wait, but a friend of mine went to a campus in Winchester or Warrenton and got in fairy quick.

What kind of bike are you thinking of?

I got about 6 months ago and it's been sitting in the lock up. My apartment complex has a storage area for bike owners where everyone keeps their bike at when its too cold to ride. I got a motorcycle permit but I might just have a buddy teach me in my complex or a parking lot.

I ride a Katana as well. Yeah it's heavy, and it's not the fastest bike on the road, but I average 58 mpg on my commute. It's also comfortable enough to commute on, unlike some of the more aggressive sport bikes. If you haven't found it already, www.katriders.com is an excellent resource for all things Katana. If you have any questions about the bike, they'll know it, but search the forum first before asking. Have fun and be safe.
