yeah... there would be one episode and then be taken off the air due to high levels of swearing and "lewd conduct."

Go for it! I have worked on several shows for Ch 10 as a production assistant and
it was a wonderful experience. Its easy to get the proper training to produce
your own shows and relatively inexpensive. However, I will warn you, this is
a very serious commitment and not to be taken lightly. After all my training, I
came to the conclusion that anyone who can operate a home video camera and a
DVD player can become proficient in studio production. Lights! Camera! Action!
BTW, If you call Channel 10, they will get you started in the right direction.

I will even change my name to TVphile - wait that sounds kinda couch potato-ish. I will keep my name.

Can you imagine, love advice from Gravis. And then The Meeper can do a whole episode on tolerance.

Gravis could be the show's version of Lewis Black...except more angry and less funny.

I also tap dance.

And, get this, I always win at the limbo game. I am able to flatten my body down to within 1/16 of an inch of the floor and still hop under the stick. I can even do this with the stick on fire.

Sounds like this could go somewhere and might be entertaining. However, as in
my previous post, learning to operate the gear and produce a show is the easy
part. The hard part is maintaining the COMMITMENT to follow through and finish
your program. Many hours of standing behind a camera, operating sound gear,
lights, whatever. Keeping your commitment is the hard part.

You will need a producer, director, camera operators, sound technician, etc. The
more the merrier. Then there is the "talent" (the folks actually in front of
the camera during shoots.) You will need a script. The more planning the better.
Get ready for some hard work. If you plan well, work well, and pay attention
to details (and no, I dont mean de-Tails!) you can have a very high quality
and rewarding show. Good luck. Warning! If you goof off at Channel 10, they will
deal with you appropriately.

This can't be true, for example look a Monster Madhouse:

1) No ->producer, director
2) No ->sound technician, etc...
3) Then there is the "talent" (the folks actually in front of
> the camera during shoots.) You will need a script.

Do I even need to comment on the last one?

All that they do on Monster Madhouse is run around in circles in lame customes and wave something in their hand.

Lets do it! MML is done at a shitty little high school studio in George Mason High School. I think they have high school students as crew, thats why it looks so bad.

Perhaps I should have been more explicit. At Channel 10, you ARE the crew,
talent, etc. Thats why the required training program. After the training,
they will assist you very closely, but you are expected to do the work. If
you're looking for a frolic behind the cameras, this is not the place to do it.

If you had followed my replies, you would know that I was talking about
Channel 10. If you want poor quality middle school brainpower keep going.
As far as refering to me as a "dumb ass", what kind of tricks is your's
doing on Logan Circle. Are you one of the "Ivy Leeger's" from the other

What the heck show was Ch. 10 playing tonite? It was 3 older dudes just sittin around talking about music from the 70's. This huge guy was dressed in a tye-dye and wearing shades, talking about Alice Cooper, the Dead, etc. They were sittin there pondering old band names. It was almost like an SNL skit- real bizarre.

Thats 1600. Its a cool show.

Yup, that was it, I found their website: http://www.1600.tv

It was sort of amusing for the 5-10 minutes I watched it, amusing in an unintentional way. It's not often you see a 300+ lb. guy wearing dark shades and tyedye rambling on about stuff like Foghat and Uriah Heep. I'd probably turn it on again for a few minutes. :)

Yup, not a big fan of making an ass out of myself on TV. (Drinking beers at a bar with friends might be a completely different story.)

A suggestion Borloff: Why don't you give your characters personalities like every normal TV show does?

All I see is a bunch of grown-ups in costumes running in a circle waving props.
That is suppose to entertain me?
