who are the best childcare providers in fairfax?

I just want to know who would be the best childcare providers to call, since I'm moving into the area soon. i need a good list of people to call. thank you for help

Narrowing down the geographical area would be helpful. Where will you be living? Where will you be working? Fairfax is a big area

Why come to this site rather than the Fairfax City or County Web sites where they have plenty of specific info? And I found neighbors are the best source of recommendations for local providers.

Hunter Mill Country Day School offers before and after school care for school aged kids as well as a summer program. They also offer preschool care for kids ages 2-6

If you go with an at-home provider instead of a commercial preschool, make sure that they have a county permit or a state license (depending on size). The permit is no guarantee of quality, but it at least means they meet minimum standards and you have a place to complain if there's a problem.
