Herndon Police Blotter: Man Kicks in Car Door When Driver Won't Give Him Money
Also, several DUI arrests and a home burglary.

On Tuesday, April 30, the Herndon Police Department received a call from a man in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
The man reported that he was driving his car when an unknown male stopped him and asked him for money.
When the driver refused, the man kicked in his car door.
Police took a report.

BRUIN DISTRICT:
April 30 - Assault: Several people who were watching a baseball game in the 900 block of Locust Street shortly before 7 p.m. were struck by rocks thrown by kids.
GOLF COURSE DISTRICT:
April 29 - Drug and Weapons Violations: A 47-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, around 10:23 p.m. in the 600 block of Clearwater Court.
May 1 - Larceny: A victim in the 1300 block of April Way reported his car was broken into sometime overnight. The wheels and stereo system were stolen.
May 2 - Assault: A husband and wife in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive got into an argument and both reported to police that they had been struck by the other, but police found no injuries on either of them.
May 3 - Graffiti: Graffiti was found on playground equipment located at the corner of Autumn Place and Summerfield Drive.
May 4 - Drug Violation & Driving with Suspended License: A 34-year-old Leesburg woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, in the 1400 block of Sterling Road.
May 4 - Underage Drinking: A 15-year-old juvenile was found near the intersection of Barbara Lynn and Sterling Road, intoxicated. The juvenile was transported to the hospital, and the case was deferred to Fairfax County Juvenile Intake.
May 5 - Drunk in Public: A 32-year-old D.C. resident was arrested for being drunk in public, at the intersection of Crestview Drive and Wexford Court.
HALEY SMITH DISTRICT:
May 1 - Larceny: A 23-year-old Great Falls man was charged with shoplifting from a business in the 400 block of Elden Street.
May 3 - Larceny: A female victim had her car keys stolen while shopping inside a business in the 300 block of Elden Street.
May 4 - Fraud: Victim lives in the 300 block of Reneau Way. Victim says he was contacted by another victim and informed he was in violation of several laws, and that the only way to resolve the situation was to send a debit card with money on it. The case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Section.
May 4 - Drug & Alcohol Violations: A 26-year-old Herndon male was arrested at Lynn and Elden streets for being drunk in public and for possession of marijuana.
May 5 - Attempted Larceny: Two unknown males tried to shoplift from a business in the 300 block of Elden Street. They left on a red moped when confronted by store security.
May 5 - Drunk in Public: A 41-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Van Buren Street.
RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT:
May 1 - Domestic Violence: Luna Zuniga, a 30-year-old Herndon man, was arrested for domestic assault and battery, in the 900 block of Branch Drive.
May 1 - Assault: A juvenile was assaulted by a juvenile acquaintance, in the 900 block of Park Avenue. An investigation is ongoing.
May 1 - Drunk in Public: A 23-year-old Great Falls man was arrested for being drunk in public, at Grant and Madison streets.
May 3 - Burglary: A home in the 1100 block of Casper Drive was broken into. Jewelry was stolen. Report was filed at 4:21 p.m.

April 29 - Underage Drinking: A 17-year-old juvenile was found to be drunk in public, in the 1200 block of Elden Street. The juvenile was released to parents, and the case was deferred to Fairfax County Juvenile Intake.
