Claude Moore Colonial Fair Today

Claude Moore Colonial Fair Today out in McLean. Went yesterday and had a blast. Its a working farm set in the 1771 time period. They have great beer, fire roasted chicken and amazing sausage also roasted over the fire. Plays, games, period re-enactors craft items for sale. You can visit the farm house or tobacco fields. Its a beautiful park and kids love it.

CMF was a farm for a poor white family, so they wouldn't have slaves.

Visited today. The roast chicken was fantastic. Very nice way to spend a few hours. They have another market day in July and one in October. Great fun for kids and anyone interested in history.
