What a loser. All he had to do was apply for a free public housing unit. He could have been living in one of those luxury condos by now.

150 feet X 150 feet is a little more than 150 square yards.

As with many homeless, the freedom of living on the street far outweighs the "luxury" of public housing.

150 cubic yards of debris were removed by truck.

How do you confuse Gilligans Island with Arlington?

By the way, are there any non African American TV news reporters in the DC market anymore?

There are several shacks in the wooded strip of land between Sunset Hills Rd and the Dulles Toll Road. Each seems to be a hub for several tents.

This homeless encampment was right before Key Bridge, in Rosslyn. If it were not parkland, it would be extremely valuable. The woods on the VA side of the potomac river from Roosevelt island, up river at least a mile, are a haven for homeless people. There is actually a trail that goes along the river on the VA side... its one of the creepiest trails I've even been on. If you want to have close encounters with mentally-disordered homeless people, just go for a stroll there in the evening.

@FcN6T: Thanks for providing an answer to the question. I think I noticed that site once when I looked down at it while at a conference in the Le Meridien building. It was pretty elaborate.

If you are going to be a bum Washington is probably a good place. Lots of rich folks ashamed at their wealth will give you handouts. Then you have all the liberals in local government also ashamed at the areas wealth who will give you anything and everything for the asking. You are not really a bum just a victim of a capitalist system.

Yeah, It's so funny with the liberal fucks in this area. I'm surprised the liberal fucks didn't clean the illegal spics feet.
This area is a joke.

I recently noticed a shack on Route 1 in Ft Belvoir right at the spot where the Belvoir Grill used to stand. I go by there a couple times a day but have never seen any movement in or around the shack.

Good thing the Republicans and Democrats agree we need to import more immigrants to keep these encampments growing organically.

Is Francisco Fernandez Diaz in the US legally?

Why has this not been addressed?

Lets see, 150 x 150 = 22500 square feet.

That location is so close to DC, accessible to the Metro, and a nearby park. I'd value it at over 5 million dollars!
