Annandale is place to go. Wide variety of houses and enough ethnic food to make your heart happy.

This is the part where someone chimes in with "Route 1/Hybla Valley."

Mclean has very nice houses and shopping. It also has America's #1 church.

Springfield is the best. The mixing bowl and mall says it all.

Trolls like you are so lame. Anyways, the general Fairfax area is the best due to its superior schools and excellent water quality.

MANTUA is probably one of the more safer areas. However can be bit pricey...there is a home for sale in Ridgelea Hills which is part of the Mantua community...again...very pricey

Cancer is great at Mantua too! one of the highest pediatric cancer rates in FFX thanks to the giant gas tank leeks up hill off picket years ago. "Dont worry, all that gas and its benzene are long gone - nothing to see here - have a happy!"

There are very few sections of Fairfax left that are worth living in. The place has gone to crap. If you can afford it, I suggest Falls Church City or Arlington County.

Go to Gainesville. Locals call it the Riviera of VA.

Centreville...no wait Koreatown
Springfield...no wait 10 to a 1 bedroom apartment and 30 to a house
Reston...no wait section 8'ers are taking over and homeless

Best expensive places (minimum 700k up to millions):
McLean
Oakton
Falls Church (good parts)/Falls Church City
Clifton (both town and 5-acre estates on outskirts)
Fairfax Station

Places inside the Beltway are selling VERY fast for top dollar.

Best moderately priced places (500k+ SFH):
Burke (classic suburbia)
Centreville (yes, there are a lot of Asians, which bothers some people here)
subdivisions near Clifton

Best inexpensive places:
there are none - you need to go way out to find anything

Hope that helps.
