When did Marshall HS get so ratchet. Kids who go there/went there always gettin in trouble these days.

It's likely all due to the violent video games these kids play these days. They get decensitized to the very realistic violence and they shortly develop a kind of "blood lust." Oh yeah, those violent video games are destroying our youth today.

Yeah cause 3 girls definitely were caught with weed due to 'violent video games'.......or MAYBE they just like smoking pot like half the other teenagers in high school. Get a grip and welcome to 2013.

I think it's because their parents coddle them and convince them they can do no wrong and daddy will get you out of any trouble you may get into. It's certainly not the kids fault!

We're clearly adults, since you wanna act like you know us, and are handling everything on our own just as we got in trouble on our own. Yes, marijuana is illegal. But it doesnt make us bad people

@Ancient Thug: My white ass is 64 years old and I couldn't comprehend. I looked this term up in the Urban Dictionary. Among several definitions I think the adj. definition is closest to what is meant, but I may be wrong:

4. RATCHET

: n. type of socket wrench

: adj. a horrific mispronunciation of "wretched"

This mispronunciation has taken on the meaning of severely ghetto and stupid, esp. when used on a girl/woman

Calling someone a "tool" is a slamg expression, hence I thought "ratchet" was trying to say they were "tools" or something, as a ratchet is a type of tool.
