Terry Mac in Trouble

WaPo this morning has a new poll that shows him down by 10 points amongst likely voters and down 5 amongst all voters. And The Cooch is over 50% in the first group. Being the WaPo, they immediately try and cover for him by saying there's plenty of time to turn it around (shades of 2009 with Deeds/McDonnell when the Post said the same thing). Even worse for MacAuliffe and his Chinese overlords that are financing his campaign, an accompanying piece buried in A19 says that blacks are not enthused by the pasty-white McLean carpet-bagging ex-banker and without a significant minority turnout in VA (ala 2008/2012), it's almost impossible for him to win.

And the Washington Examiner hits the major flaws hard in their oped this morning. They point out just a few of the reasons why MacAuliffe was probably the worst possible canidate to run this year for the democrats.

All in all, just another bitter dose of reality for Terry and his brain-dead supporters.

And this is even before they start dragging all of the skeletons out of Terry's closets and he pulls one of his own self-destructs as usual.

So much similarity between these threads and the Romney is gonna crush Obama threads. Likely because they are by the same authors. We'll see man. The GOP made a stupid choice, instead of picking a good fiscally sound and reasonable person like Bill Bolling, they went with the in your face, bible thumping, throw back to the 50s Virginia Cuccinelli.

I hate to point this out to you, but the demographics racially, educationally, and geographically do not align to the message that Cooch is selling in Virginia. Could he win? If the vote is absurdly low (as it usually is in these off year elections which is why the GOP loves keeping it so) then yes he has a decent shot. Then again, Cuccinelli is a magnet for negative press. The reason you see so much money coming into this race is because Cooch signifies a radical shift in the state of Virginia, a state that is significantly blue.

That being the case, you wont see a low turn out, because he isn't just some business man McDonnell type. The womens health groups, the minorities, and normal progressive 20 and 30 somethings will come out to vote against him because he is his own worst enemy.

Now if he shuts his mouth and acts like everything he said in the past is being misconstrued, he might just weasel out a win.

But I love your "he's gonna crush em" attitude. So delusional. Keep drinking the Fox/Rove/Priapus cool-aid.

^ Good luck with that. I guess you missed the actual polling versus what you libtards would like to believe. You're drinking the KoolAid if you think that VA is "significantly blue." At best, you might call it purplish.

McAuliffe is one of those guys who the more people know about him the less they like him. He's a rich white 1%er former NY "bankster" who is the epitome of money-corrupted politics. And obviously racist since he opposed Obama. There's no love from progressives or minorities and no coat tails to ride this time. Worse yet, he has little experience as a candidate and being the guy out in front of versus rasing money behind the curtain. Just a matter of time before he does or says something extraordinarily dumb as he has in the past.

Any "progressives" who vote for him should be forced to tattoo a big "H" for hypocrite on their forehead.

Hate Rove. Don't watch Fox. Don't much like Priapus. Didn't say The Cooch was going to crush MacAuliffe. Just pointed out the facts. Being a whiney lib, you like to ignore facts. Perhaps that's why your post is full of opinion and lies.

Here's another fact for you: unlike Romney, Cuccinelli has locked up his base. And unlike Obama, MacAuliffe has not. This will be a low turnout election as all off-cycle elections in VA are. Thus, an energized base is what's going to win it. Advantage Cuccinelli.

Thanks to the far right it will be too close to call. Having Bolling run it would have been a cake walk for Reps. But that would have been too easy a win.
