Best place to get Pictures printed...

I live in Annandale and want to get some good quality prints of some pictures off my iphone for framing. Anyone able to recommend a good retail location? Are the drug store picture printing services any good? Costco?

'depends on how big you want to print them. For the money it's hard to beat Costco.

PS - I've never heard 'iphone' and 'good quality prints' used in the same sentence but what do I know.

Since there are from your iPhone don't look for anything bigger than 5X7. The iPhone is not a good camera.

Costco is cheap and quick. But you do need to be a member.

If you have the newer IPhone you print with your Bluetooth. It is easy and costs about .16 a print.

I find even with my photo printer it is still cheaper and less time consuming to download to CVS. I am wrong? The photo paper and ink are not cheap. I am talking over 100 photos from over spring break.

Didn't you learn anything from the conviction of the WSHS teens who'd been taking pictures with their iPhones? Just delete those pictures you took of the underage girls!

Walgreens, Costco, Walmart, the UPS Store, Kinkos....

And yes, the quality from those places (and the longevity of the prints) far suprasses what most people can do at home unless they have a thermal wax or dye sublimation printer.

hey moron - I rarely print photos and I only want a few printed. Are you suggesting I go purchase a $150 decent ink jet printer plus paper to print 5 pictures?

Photocraft, I believe is the name- I could have it wrong. Anyhow, they are now located in the Lorton Workhouse Art Center. They print for museums, artists, advertising, etc. Fair prices and they can work with you on editing, enhancing, and special papers to have your photos printed on.

If you choose online, mpix.com is what the pros use.
