Cuccinelli releasing 8 years of tax returns
Posted by: Be Consistent Dems ()

The AG is releasing 8 years of tax returns. I assume that all of you on the left that whined and cried about the Romney tax returns will pressure McAuliffe to release 8 years of tax returns as well? Right?

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) has just sent out a statement announcing that he’ll be releasing eight years of tax returns. This puts the ball in the court of his opponent for Virginia’s governorship, former green auto executive Terry McAuliffe (D).

“Throughout my public career, I have always endeavored to demonstrate a commitment to transparency and accountability…The decision to make my tax returns available to the public will hopefully provide voters more information as they decide who to support this fall. I am confident my background and record of accomplishment will prevail on Election Day and I look forward to working to create more jobs and economic opportunities throughout the Commonwealth.”

In releasing eight years of returns, Attorney General Cuccinelli is making available more information on this front than any Virginia gubernatorial candidate in recent history.

McAuliffe's campaign is already self-destructing, and it's only April. All the money in the world can't win this one. The Virginia Democratic leadership is already distancing themselves.

When Dick Saslaw loudly proclaims that Mark Warner was his preferred candidate, you know we're in trouble.

I guess I'd be mad too if my candidate was a slimeball like TMac.

The fact McAuliffe is the Democratic nominee at all is an indication just how weak the Democratic party is when it comes to potential candidates for state-wide races. The last time a Democratic candidate won a STATE statewide race was in 2005, and the last time they won two statewide races was in 2001. Both of those guys are now in the Senate, so the Democrats have nobody left.

They could run some gay Muslims for office. That's a winner.

Will the Kooki-nelli release the list of gifts or in-kind donations that he has received? Follow the cash....his vacations, summer homes, home renovations, boating equipment...there is much to unearth under the Tin Foil hat that the Kooki-nelli wears.

Wow, Dems are dumb. He clearly said "STATE statewide races." Senate elections are FEDERAL statewide races. He isn't jealous, you are just stupid.

What a joke

Hes gonna lose because he thinks that oral sex between two married people should be illegal. Hes gonna lose because hes against all abortions no matter what. Hes gonna lose because hes a down stater who cries about welfare being spent on the northern counties, even though Roanoke and central steal all of the states money while NOVA gets returned back pennies on our tax dollars.

Hes a hypocritical little punk bible thumper

But by all means, get your hopes super high like last november, I cant wait to relive it.

The Cooch went to elementary and junior high in Fairfax County. He then transferred to Gonzaga in DC for high school. He's not a "down stater". He's against weakening the law that is used to convict child molesters. Obama barely won VA. McAuliffe won't have near the turnout machine that Obama had. This will be close, but you libs thinking Cuccinelli's going to get crushed are delusional. He won by 18 points 4 years ago against a well-liked lawyer from Fairfax, carrying almost ½ the precincts in Fairfax.

Uneducated? Be sure to tell the engineering department at UVa that you consider their graduates to be uneducated. Be sure to tell the faculty at a law school ranked in the top 50 that you consider their graduates uneducated.

It appears that you are the one who is uneducated and I just schooled you.

He is a lock because TMac is a fatally flawed candidate.

Not as big a joke as TMac.

None of which matters because TMac is a joke. Dems tried to paint McDonnell with this same brush four years ago. How'd that work out for them?

Umm, he is from Fairfax. He represented Fairfax in the state Senate. Are you contending Fairfax is downstate?

And TMac is a slimey charlatan. Virginians will go with the bible thumper.

If you wanted to beat Cucinelli (who is very beatable) you should have run someone other than McCauliffe.

I dont work in politics like you Brian, so I didnt run anyone. I have a real job.

And by the way, the engineering department at UVA is a joke. No self respecting engineer would ever attend it.

Now back to the topic at hand. Anal and oral sex being outlawed for married couples, and the need for more tubes being put up womens vaginas

LoLz. Is that what they told you at NoVA? Or was it DeVry?

Actually, the topic at hand is Cucinelli releasing his tax returns and whether or not McCauliffe has the balls to do the same. It is pretty easy to figure out what the topic is. It is that thing you clicked on to read this thread. If you were still confused, it is the phrase that appears at the top of every posting.

I'm more than happy to help a mental midget such as yourself, so no need to thank me.

Ken also has an A rating from the NRA. After yesterdays fiasco in the Senate the pro-gunners in Virginia are going to be highly motivated to turn out in droves on election day. Let's see Terri keep right on sucking Obama/Clinton ass. :)

I know there has been plenty of dialogue on this already, but I am still interested in how somebody can call Cuccinelli uneducated.

With an engineering degree and a law degree, he most certainly is not uneducated.

Both degrees from top tier schools, to boot.

He may indeed be other things, but uneducated he is not.

Yet he will because the Democrats picked a fatally flawed charlatan as a candidate. Virginians will soon see what a fraud the carpetbagging TMac really is. Just like he did in 2009, TMac will fail again.

As for religion, TMac and Cooch are both Catholics educated in Catholic schools. They believe the same things.

Naw. It's the Kookster who's fatally flawed. Exposing him as the whack-a-do, rightwing ideologue he really is will be a cakewalk for Team TMac.

It worked so well for Creigh Deeds and Steve Shannon. LOL. TMac won;t have time to attempt to expose Cuccinelli as anything as he will spend the whole time trying to hide his tax returns, explain why he sent jobs to MS when he could have put them in VA, and explain how his "green" car company isn't really a visa scheme. TMac is already in react mode and that isn't good.

It should tell you something that the to VA Democrat strategist is sitting this race out. TMac can't win.

It is hilarious to think that a carpetbagger that couldn't beat stutterin' Creigh Deeds and has never won an election is going to beat a guy who has never lost an election.

More like 55 - 60%. The Cooch's beliefs are inline with the doctrine of the Church and a little more than 40% of Catholics. But it won't be the Catholics that carry Cuccinelli across the finish line. It will be evangelicals from Tidewater and Sourthern VA. Cuccinelli has his base locked down. He needs to address the Star Scientific issue, do a bit of a mea culpa on it for not seeing the bad optics and put it behind him and he needs to do that now. Once that's behind him, he can move a bit to center while MacAuliffe is still trying to get his base behind him. This is Cuccinelli's election to lose with MacAuliffe as his opponent. The dems couldn't have picked a shittier candidate.
