ok so I saw a thread on barbershops but it was dated.
I've been going to stupid salons getting my hair cut and it's too expensive and I feel dumb going there.
I'm looking for an awesome place that I can get a solid cut, chill out, and not pay too much. I have a buddy in cali who talks about places that have complementary beer too. If that exists here, tell me.
just looking for a recommendation. also best reuben in town?
Those type fo places don't exist here. The Vietnamese have cornered the market on barber shops. It's really hard to find a caucasian barber in this area.
Two exceptions that I know of are Bob's Babershop in Springfield which is an old school shop with three barbers -- all over 70 -- but give a decent cut.
And there's a place on 123 in a strip mall in Oakton next to a Wells Fargo bank. They have an older MILF with big cans and a younger dude that gives a good cut to.
Decent place with laid back people, somewhat crude humor-- right by the new Aldi in Chantilly. All the way to the left of the Giant shopping center in Chantilly, right by 7-11, good place run by Vietnamese dudes. Reuben-- Bernie's Delicatessen across from GMU off Ox rd.
Trieus in Fairfax near Cedar Lane and Lee hwy. 13 bucks with a hot towel and razor shave for back of neck. Been going for six years and won't go anywhere else.

The Asian women on the end is the best cutter there (the older guys are Not good). 15 bucks plus tip. Best days are Wed/Thur when they are not so busy.
Circle barber hair stylists by far the best. Located in fairfax circle behind dunkin donuts A purto rican barber and a cuban barber they are the real deal if you want a real barber.
That's fine for all you gays out there (not that there's anything wrong with you), but what about places that have hot Asian women (and only women) cutting your hair? If I'm gonna pay someone to run their hands through my hair, it sure as hell is going to be a woman.

I would prefer hot white women. Any tips on where they cut hair?

The Barber of Seville in Fair Oaks has a bunch of guys who give good haircuts. They used to have a hot, early 40s Vietnamese chick in there who always wore a short skirt & heels and had an English name - Sue or Linda or something. Have not seen for a while, she must have moved on in life.
There's also a decent shop in Ballston Mall in Arlington that has a mix of guys and Asian gals cutting hair. They all do a good job and Bailey's Pub and Sports bar is next door so you can have a few cocktails before / after your haircut.
