I sort of remember this but had forgotten about it until yesterday when I read in the Examiner that the murderer still has not been caught.
They also mentioned her husband was having an affair but both the husband and the mistress have been cleared of any involvement.

This does not make any sense.

Being out of town on business while the wife you are cheating on is murdered seems to be one hell of a strange coincidence dont you think?

Thoughts?

I can think of two other murders in this county in the last 20 years where the woman's dude did it and got away scott clean

Nor exactly Fairfax (Manassas) but the numero uno of unsolved murders is the State Trooper that was stabbed when he answered his front door in 1984 or thereabouts.

You know they expended 1000 times the effort to catch the killer than they would have if it had been you or me. And still no arrest. And they're still looking after almost 30 years. Amazing.

CONCERNING THE MURDER OF

ROBIN WARR LAWRENCE

LOCATION:

8646 Reseca Lane, West Springfield, Virginia

DATE:

November 18-20, 1994

VICTIM:

Robin Warr Lawrence, 36 years old. 8646 Reseca Lane, West Springfield, Virginia.

On Sunday, November 20, 1994, Robin Warr Lawrence was found inside her residence suffering from multiple stab wounds to her upper body. Her two year old daughter was found in the home unharmed. Mrs. Lawrence was last seen alive on Friday, November 18, 1994, and was found on November 20, 1994. A motive for the stabbing has not been determined.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Fairfax County Crime Solvers at 1-800-673-2777 or (703)-691-8888. You do not have to leave a name, just the information. A $1000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case. There is an additional reward being offered in this case by friends and family of Robin Warr Lawrence.
