Porn is not block at the campus

I went to campus today and, I log on the computers and started watching some videos. and they where not block, can they suspsned a 18 year old student for watching aduit viedos at school? the site was not block

You realize the government agencies and contractors ask you about work-site porn usage in the pre-job polygraph. Blabbing it about on the net is the first sign you're going to flunk the test.

NOVA is a public, open school. Like libraries, yes you can go to the computer and access porn. It's just a generally bad idea to access that in public.

wrong - you need a student ID number to go to IT and get a computer access account which has a usage agreement...that they generally frown upon if you violate.

I find it hilarious that it is against the rulez to watch porn at college when you consider the sexual escapades of toady's students. lolz

Making porn on campus is OK but watching it on a school computer is a no-no. I see your point. Honestly I don't see why anyone would give a shit unless you whip it out and start crankin' it in class.

It all depends on the terms of agreement that you sign. Be warned they can charge you with a crime if you violate it. Theres talk of pushing more laws about terms of agreement. It has to do with social media covering their butts.

It's mostly about downloading stuff that screws up the system, not necessarily porn. And for most people, it's.... not a good idea to do something that's frowned upon...

I heard of an incident in the UK many years ago in which a student downloaded gigs of porn when the internet was slower. Since the university lacked grounds to punish him, they had him sign an agreement to limit his bandwidth use.
