A woman was found dead after an apartment fire in Reston early Monday morning and police are investigating her death as a homicide. A neighbor in the Waterside View Drive apartments called 911 just after 6 a.m. after smelling smoke. But when firefighters arrived, they say the woman had already passed away. The flames were confined to one room where the woman was found, says Fairfax County Deputy Fire Chief Mike Riley. The woman is not yet being identified, says police spokesperson Shelley Broderick.
No other residents in the apartment building are displaced because of the flames, according to the fire marshall. The cause of the fire and the cause of the woman's death remain under investigation.

Waterside used to be mostly black folks years ago, but I'm not sure about it anymore. Apparatuses 425, 431, 436, and 439 responded, so did FFX 1. I'm not sure about 404. Initially they believed it was a fire victim as they pulled her out of the fire and onto the landing, but of course that conclusion soon changed. It's a shame, but great job by Fairfax Fire & Rescue.

I can't believe what I just read... you think God's word built this country? You think He wanted us to slaughter the native people and herd them into camps? You think God was present in the times that we here in America burned people we thought were witches? Do think it was God's will that millions of people toiled in slavery in our country? Was it divine inspiration when the Jim Crow laws were penned?
In reality, America was made into what it is with blood, sweat and on the backs of the oppressed. The deeds of man, good and bad, were the only thing that forged our nation. Under the influence of left wing lunacy the tumor has matastisized. Bush brought principles of oppression to a new level and Obama has taken over the reigns and accelerated the demise of this country to an alarming pace.
God and belief in his holy word have absolutely nothing to do with religion.
Religion is man's handiwork and also the cause of the demise of all great empires big and small.
Mayhem in Reston will be old news in a few hours if not already. Evil has reached critical mass in this country and a mass repentence to Jesus Christ is the only way that God can bless this nation and save it because he can't violate his own laws.
