He was cutting through one of those paint-line areas and I was pulling out. He basically came out of my right side blind spot, from behind my car. There was no way I could have seen him. And he was going fast. That parking lot is crazy enough without speeding motorcycles added to the mix.

These traffic encounters come and go. The things that these douchebags do will make your hair stand on end.
But what are you going to do, fight everybody?
There is no shortage of inattentive, arrogant , rude drivers around here. If you freak out everytime somebody does something stupid , you'll shorten your life.
The poster that said "chill though -- If you hit him you go to jail" was right on the money.
Unfortunatly, around here, you have to watch out where the other guy is going as well as yourself.

i have travveled the world and US people are some of the freindliest people anywhere UNTIL:
you put them behind the wheel of a car.
other countries do not have such a situation i.e: assholes and driving assholes / nice and driving nice
I never understood it, in california they drive slow in front like they want you to drive slow too, in NOVA there is just zero correlation to anything.

Maybe I should have, but then I wouldn't have gotten home in time. If you go out of your way to track someone down in a parking lot and confront them, well, that would be probably dozens of confrontations in the past several years I've lived here. It's just not worth it. I have confronted people before, and nothing productive comes from it besides two dudes saying "Fuck you" to each other and walking away. The way I see this, it's NOT the fact that the motorcyclist made an irresponsible and unsafe move, it's the fact that he then "shook his head" as if the innocent had wronged HIM. And THAT is the growing problem in this crazy world...those who break laws, act recklessly and with careless abandon take the attitude that THEY are right and deserve respect.
I recently had to spend a morning in traffic court as a witness and was AMAZED at how many there had grievously broken traffic laws and took the attitude that THEY were wronged or deserved to be pardoned. It's this upside-down morality that's crippling us as a society.
The best part of my day is when someone -including myself, makes a mistake and apologizes rather than pass blame or rationalize the act.
Deference and humility paves the road to civility folks.
