When was it (Hunter's Lodge) ripped down?

And to the FFU "protector", I don't give a sh** if there is an old thread on this.

If there is, time to start on new one.

Go spy on your neighbors or something like that.

Nope. Costco was the site of the DI movie. HL & it's kick'n parking lot was at the corner, now buried under the north side of the intersection. There was still an open space there w/some demolition debris even after Price Club opened up, but that was all dug up to create the holding pond next to S/A...

Back in 1980's when MHZ was WNVC/WNVT they'd have a 90 minute show on Saturday nights which was filmed at Hunter's Lodge

before the Saturday night horror show with Bottomsly Bottoms, damn I never can remember his name but I thought he was funny

anyways that Saturday night show has got to be great archive of Hunters Lodge 1970'-'80's style

Some Fairfax history buff should hustle over to MHZ and get copies of the show before that general manager tells them to throw out the old tapes to make space

Man I dig Inspector Caliandro and Montalbano but still think a shame its almost totally foreign programming with nothing about Virginia(films, art, sports, music, history) Hey we're natives for gosh sakes not the visitors
