Does every school have Drivers ed behind the wheel classes? I am currently a junior at Mount Vernon High School. and I will be allowed to take behind the wheel any day now. but I don't want to take it with our drivers ed teacher cause he can be a jerk at times. does anyone If we go to any other school to take behind the wheel and pass is it the same as taking at our base school? does anyone know the price for behind the wheel if we have free lunch? My mom doesn't have car issance do they ask for it in behind the wheel? Will they ask for prove? cause if I asked them that question they won't acccept me to take that class.

Look here for the info.

I think every school has driver's ed classes as part of their PE curriculum. Not all schools have behind the wheel, though, but I think kids from any school can sign up for behind the wheel at any school that has it. It isn't during school but a separate class you have to pay for. There are also a bunch of private driving programs that you can attend and ask them the questions you listed in your post.

My kids did not have to show proof of insurance for behind the wheel and were not added to our insurance until they got their lisence. A bad idea for you and the rest of society for you to drive without insurance, though.

I hope you both drive better than you spell.

Good luck with the written test. How in the world does Fairfax County allow these kids to be functionally illiterate and still advance?

The same way the federal government works. If you don't want to deal with them next year, simply promote them.

Sadly true, Mr. Dale. We "promote" them into a lifetime of underachievement.
