Fairfax County stopped by Reston's future Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail station to take a look at the work in progress.
The station is scheduled to be finished in August, and the Metro is slated to open in December 2013.

Generally a public train with no transfers for 15miles is probably one of the worst ways to for a getaway while planning a crime?

Its too bad, it wasnt too long ago Metro was the best thing going. Last year I had to go to Stadium Armory. It took over two hours from King St Alexandria. The car was hot as the fucking jungle, it smelled like vomit and kept single tracking.

I don't think that anyone publishes crime statistics sortable by race, that would probably be considered "racist". But my guess is that Blacks and Hispanics are responsible for somewhere around 90% of all serious/violent crime in the DC metro area.

Northern Virginia is growing and public transportation is long overdue. Bottom line you need a skill a degree or work your butt off
Most whitecollar jobs won't look at you without a degree
With that being said there are plenty of plumbers, auto mechanics, HVAC pros etc that are making 100k plus around here as well.
The third category that no one has mentioned is being your own boss. Those people generally make the most money in the end and many of them dont have degrees. The tradeoff is most entrepreneur work there butts off literally and most fail multiple times before they finally make it.

Definitely increase the fares and get some new trains. If you take metro during peak hours 99% of the riders are professionals or students.
