FBI MOVING TO FAIRFAX

your thoughts?

The FBI wants out of downtown D.C., so why not beautiful bustling Springfield? Specifically. some of the large federally owned warehouse space near the Franconia-Springfield Metro station, Fairfax County officials hope and dream.

Fairfax officials tell Kali Schumitz in the Fairfax County Times that the Springfield site matches Congress’s description for a new FBI headquarters “to a T.” It’s not only near Metro but the VRE and some certain very major highways.

“We will do our own full court press from a lobbying standpoint as to why this site is so superior,” Supervisor Jeff McKay (D-Lee) said. Prince George’s County, with its own Metro stations and major highways, is thought to be the major competition.

But Fairfax does NOT want the FBI moving into a place like the vast, soon to be vacant Exxon-Mobil campus on Gallows Road in Merrifield. That would remove about $2.5 million in annual tax revenue, because the feds wouldn’t pay taxes. The rest of Schumitz’s story is her

Here's an idea! How about the old Filmdex site? The aliens could use the nearby gravel pit to land their ship.

Exactly what noted Jew Steven Speilberg wants you to believe! Don't forget that he sent his nephew to school here - probably to keep an eye out for the Ark!

The deal was to be for the (soon to be) XOM property, but their new Houston campus won't be 100% finished until 2016 & the FBI wants to break ground sooner. Has nothing to do w/"taxes" on the property.

"soon to be vacant Exxon-Mobil campus on Gallows Road in Merrifield"

I think Sharon Bulova has that slated to be luxury homes for section 8 housing. The building already has a first class gym and nice facilities so all she has to do is add the homes.

Not to mention they will get free gas for the cars they are given to drive with licenses they'll never have at that Exxon spot.

I believe the Methodists used to own a bookstore chain and publishing outfit. Perhaps that is what the warehouse was for?
