Someone needs to check the registration of this website to assure same rules and laws apply to Fairfaxunderground.com as other media organizations. As best as I can tell Fairfaxunderground.com is not a 501-c-3 but is perhaps a media business ?

I think Cary Weidmann as the Founder of Fairfax Underground has created a wonderful community forum, one of the best technicallly innovative community forums that I know.

This forum has existed since 2005, and this Faifax Underground Forum, can have much better community and neighborhood support in future as we are able to monitor the few "abusive" residents who think they are above the legal rules that protects consumers and average citizens.

I am thankful that the Fairfax Consumer Dept's "On Life Complaint" protocol exists for the public to use to file complaint against abusive business, or others.

If anyone has a valid complaint about "abusive posting" , do consider trying out this "On Line Complaint Form" to help Cary Weidmann, the Founder of Fairfax Underground to make it more useful and helpful to all who want to use this most valuable community forum.

Posting "Nude Images" and bizzare sex pictures as you have filed in my discussions in the past is illegal by rules of public decency as is well known by most people who live in Fairfax County and do not violate the rules as you do in my discussions.

You waste your own time and time of others in constructive discussions by doing so, and also you bring risk to yourself by posting such nude or bizzare pictures at Fairfax Underground Community Forum.

I think Cary has created a wonderful "Tool" for community forum by neighbhorhood at Fairfax.

But the big challange is weak participation and community outreach currently.

This Fairfax Community Forum can contribute substantially to communty vitality and community literacy as well as other key goals, if there is stronger participation from indivdiuals, business, and non-profits doing good in the community.

Question: Would Cary be amenable to creating an Community Based Advisory Board to see if can find a way to a stronger community outeach among the 1 million plus residents at Fairfax, VA today ?

Again, to report abusive photos that "violates" decency laws, posted to destroy someone's polite conversation under an 'assumed name" is illegal at Fairfax County , VA and could result in shutdown of this valuable community forum invented by Cary W.

I hope this matter can be resolved by Mr. Cary W. and spare us the aggrevation of having to file complaint with Fairfax County Consumer Protection Board.

But "On Line Complaint" is easy to do and I am really glad we have this tool to deal with large compnaies who are sometime abusive with their billing practices as I have experienced.

But I have never had to file compalaint against a small business in the last 5 years .

There are public decency laws, but last time I checked hurting someone's feelings wasn't a crime. (If it ever becomes a crime, then our First Amendment will truly be dead.). The forum belongs to Cary, and he gets to make the rules. He can also shut this down if he wants. If you don't like it you can ask Cary to change the rules, or you can go elsewhere. Your choice.

From personal experience, this place isn't for the faint of heart or those with thin skins. If you want to use this place to expose others to your ideas, you should expect the electronic equivalent of rubbish being thrown on you by those who disagree, or who simply enjoy throwing rubbish.

Conversation: You are obviously not an attorney and not familiar with the "pornography peddling laws" and interstate protection laws that are instituted on the county, state, and federal levels.

Better discuss this topic with your trusted attorney and if you don't have one , just bring this up with the Consumer Protection Agency of Fairfax County as a good starting point for your "education need".

I do think that what Cary has created by Fairfax Underground is a wonderful tool. But along with "freedom", there is always "responsibilty" , beyond legal issues, is ethnical and moral issues, in a culture as diverse as is Fairfax County VA.

I guess you've got a law degree from Georgetown or Regent in that bag of yours, or perhaps a sister in some big DC firm, so how can I argue? Let's put our cards on the table. You assume because you don't agree with my opinion that I have no working knowledge of the law. I assume in part because of your comment about educating myself through FCCPA that you have no such working knowledge. However neither of us knows this for certain, and without dropping the anonymity and comparing credentials we will never know.
