Chap Petersen & the Redskins

Q: Why does Chap Petersen support the use of the name "Redskins"?

A: Petersen only cares about Petersen (just like Trump). He has no soul. All he cares about is his goal of winning a statewide election in VA (having failed once in an ill-advised attempt). To be successful, he needs to be on the red side of some issues to balance his blue side on others. This is one of them. In addition, Petersen gets to pal around with Snyder who has the deep pockets he needs to fund his political ambitions. Oh, and let's not forget that he is representing Nancy Fry Loftus in her phony lawsuit against Fairfax County. She is a reviled and divisive figure, but again, it's all about power and moolah. 30% of $6M is a nice chunk of change. Color the chances of that suit being successful as zero to none. Vote for this opportunistic jerk, and this is what you get.
