I grew up in an area where mulberries are plentiful. They are edible,
but I dont care how wonderful some people may say they taste. IMHO,
they're not worth it. Have the trees in question been sprayed with
anything? If you do eat them, let them soak in water overnight in order
to wash out any bugs or larvae as they are usually full of them. Mulberries
may be a good "survival" food, but only if you're desperate. Too many of
them will also give you a case of diarrhea. If you have a tree near your
house, its best chopped down unless you want runny bird shit all over
everything.
