I grew up with the Stooges, been watching them for years, see old reruns of 70s, 80s shows don't laugh at all, Bill Cosby, Family ties, Threes Company you name it, all lame shit. Watch the Stooges, laugh like a bastard, can't figure out why girls don't like them, but your right, they don't. Those guys were the masters, better then Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello.

For clarification, I'm not "stating the obvious" by saying that the Curly episodes are better. I'm saying that Shemp, Joe Besser and Curly Joe are UNWATCHABLE. I'm also saying that the later Curly episodes suck, too. Only the early stuff before the routines became tired (prior to the war years) was funny.

Actually, Shemp was one of the first in the trio. He retired early due to a nervous condition, a chemical imbalance in his brain. Shemp was pretty good, he had an individuality in his character that balanced the act nicely.

I'm a woman and can't get enough of the 3 stooges. OMG funniest slapstick ever.

Why? The three stooges were highly original, multi talented, and witty as hell but most of all, amazingly funny.

I am not sure why anyone would like them. If you want some good slapstick or physical comedy, watch the Marx Brothers films. Any of them between Animal Crackers and Night at the Opera are comedy gold. What is interesting too is that I see alot of references to them in current children's programming - where character names from their movies, especially Groucho's, are used or mentioned.

I like it when girls do slapstick humor. Christina Applegate in Married...With Children was awesome, as was Sarah Chalke in Scrubs. And everybody loves Lucy.

I think it takes a pretty sharp actress to play a dork well. It makes the actress (not necessarily the character) seem that much hotter.

Groucho was a genius, even in the series "You Bet Your Life", his wit was sharp s ever, Bill Cosby wehn he reprised the role was a piss in a bucket compared to him.

I love the three stooges !!! my father introduced them to me when I was a little girl and I haven't been able to stop laughing since. I really don't understand why women don't like them, I reckon they need to get a sense of humour !
