Why are videos in the threads playing automatically now? Has this changed? It's really annoying.

It just the one thread and it's because some idiot placed a video on the place with the option to self start.
Click the video that is self starting and report it. Cary can then remove it.
If you check out http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/40/97221/page-7.html you'll see the video don't play automatically.

you can also use flashblock. seriously, it reduces load times when people embed flash videos. it's also great for stopping those stupid flash based ads from loading.

honestly, i have not noticed that because i only activate the flash videos i want and nothing i dont want.
