The phone number referenced in the text message 909-978-6050 is listed for sale at a website entitled "cheapest dids". http://www.cheapestdids.com/didlist.php


The site/company selling the number is Bingo Consulting--registered as follows:

The Los Angeles FBI office (which would have jurisdiction over a 909 number --the one in the text) told me to call back after 9 am Pacific time. There seems no easy way to report this in the interim.
