What is going on with this shopping center where Giant use to be? Why can't owner get tenants? Rent too high? The other side of the street where Trader Joe's resides gets lots of business. Why is this one stripe doing so badly?

as to why the owner can't get tennants, if you haven't noticed it hasn't been the best economic times to open a business. They both seem to be owned by combined properties so it seems unlikely they are charging substantially more rent in Turnpike

According to the Fairfax Patch last week, a Chipotle and Elevation Burger are coming in early next year along with a new Ross where the Giant used to be.

Don't be silly, Fairfax city has 25000 people, they're not gonna open a 3rd walmart and that's not big enough to be one.
