New to area, looking for discrete bar
Posted by: Scot Irish ()
Date: January 11, 2015 01:55PM

After working on the west coast for my whole career I just took a new high profile high pressure job in the Dulles area and I'm looking for a good bar to get my drink on. Someplace quiet where there won't be a lot of people all up in my business.

Middle management is neither high pressure nor high profile, and nothing higher exists in Dulles. Sounds like the bar at any TGIF would work fine for you to "get your drink on."

I don't think being the manager at the Dulles Enterprise Rent-a-Car qualifies as high profile or high pressure.

Not sure where you are staying, but the Greenbriar Town Center ( https://www.google.com/maps/@38.8797326,-77.3974322,19z ) has a Buffalo Wing Factory, Dogfish Head, Similans and Bonefish. They are all good places to get your drunk on and not be bothered by anybody. Similans is very generous with their alcohol and have awesome food.

Sounds like a typical alcohol looking for a geographical cure. Someone that needs a "discreet" bar where they won't run into a new collegue because they don't want everyone at work to hear about them staggering out to their car in piss-stained pants. Lol. Go to an AA meeting instead pickle-head.

Two spelling errors in a post pointing out a spelling error. Here's a hint, look for the squiggly red line under your words.

I'd suggest looking for a watering hole close to home instead of the office so you can walk home if necessary (unless you live close to work). a dui with an uptight boss in a new town would be a bad combo.

It seems you are insinuating that you are famous. It's NoVA, unless you are at the networking capital (Reston Town Center) NoVA people don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. You can go everywhere in peace, no one will care about you here.

What I hear you saying is "Oh, where can I get my cock sucked?
Where can I get my ass fucked?
I may have no money
But I know where to put it every time

Well, I asked a young policeman
If he'd only lock me up for the night
Well, I've had pigs in the farmyard
Some of them, some of them, they're alright
Well, he fucked me with his truncheon
And his helmet was way too tight

Oh, where can I get my cock sucked?
Where can I get my ass fucked?
I ain't got no money
But I know where to put it every time

I'm a lonesome schoolboy"

super lame

1980's: full houses, people getting slow dances, and cheap pitchers of beer

2010's: mostly empty except on weekends, %99 girls are the girls who get free drinks from the bar so the bar doesn't look all male, no slow dances (banned by socialists because it promotes white dating)

have to drink to be there or thrown out %100 people drinking: guaranteed looser laws

absolutely lame in fairfax
