A defunct overpass spanning Wilson Blvd. in Rosslyn that is now the location of a park and free outdoor museum. The park is also the home of the Freedom Forum Journalist's Memorial, a glass and steel monument dedicated to reporters, editors, photographers and broadcasters who gave their lives reporting the news. The central theme of the museum exhibits is "freedom". On display are parts of the Berlin Wall, MLK's jail-cell door, a headless statue of V.I. Lenin, a boat used by Cuban refugees, and several other historical artifacts. Because this park is elevated above the surface streets, it offers excellent views of the surrounding neighborhood, the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, as well as planes landing and departing from National Airport.
