I checked out the Adult On Demand channel from Cox last night. Totally not worth it. I didn't even end up renting because they wanted $12.99 for like 6 hours of viewing time (or some cost and viewing time in that ballpark). Please. Have they heard of the internet? What they should do is charge $2.50 for 6 hours. I bet they'd get a huge increase in subscriptions. At $12.99 it's totally not

What a load of crap. The study, as reported by CNN, ranked drugs across 16 categories. 9 related to how the drug impacts the individual and 7 on its harm to others. Not surprisingly, Crack and Meth were ranked the most harmful to individuals, meaning they ranked highest in the 9 categories focused on individuals. "Mysteriously", alcohol ranked highest on its impact in the other 7 categories w

It's not that complicated really. There is a massive asian market off metroplex by Bungalows and there's another massive asian market by Rt. 28 and Rt. 29. Why would we need a third asian market, that is smaller than either of its neighbors, located effectively between the other two? Fuck. They'd be better off remodeling it and making half of the store an Outback and the other half a Red Lobs

A buddy of mine was telling me about these two fools trying to sell spray cleaner door-to-door. It's a very old scam and the cleaner is probably nothing more than rebottled store-bought cleaner or some dilute form of HCl. He said the people selling it are very pushy and tried to walk into his house without being invited first. Then they sprayed some of that shit onto the front steps (also with

That's a fairly high minimum if that's the lowest they were offering. Even in Vegas you can find $5 and $10 minimum tables in practically every casino. And lets be real here. West Virginia != Vegas, so they should crank that shit down to realistic levels unless they start laying down the cash to equal even the poorest Vegas casino.

Never seen them before and no. I don't hate them. I think you're on your own on that one. Given the sheer number of places where Centreville and Chantilly merge together, the city would need about 15 of those things to cover each road.

That massive Korean church is only a good thing. People like living close to their place of worship, so property values in Centreville will increase as a result.

Every quarter since the end of 2008, some donkey finance columnist has said that very same thing. How can there be "artificial" growth due to inventory buildup for close to two years straight? What company is going to stock 2 yea

And now for the whole quote... The president said: "There is not a country in the world that would not want to change places with us, for all the problems that we've got." He added: "We're still the country that billions of people around the world look to and aspire to."

While I do lean more on the side of those who think WTL FAIL is a gigantic douche, I don't agree that the recession is over. As far as I'm concerned, the recession is over only when 2 of the below 3 items are true. 1. When the number of positive news articles about the economy start to outnumber the number of "OMFG, the market is going to DIE!!!!" news articles. 2. When housing prices stabilize

All I want to know is... Where has all the goddamn money gone that's been given to Jerry's Kids? How many millions of dollars and what, if anything, has been done to make progress against that disease? Seriously. They're all still confined to chairs. They still can't walk. WTF.

I can't see how it would cost more to have private liquor sales than our current ABC system. 1. Sell licenses for like 100k. Yeah, it's steep but it's still less than what it would cost to open a restaurant and buy equipment for the kitchen. 2. Sell licenses to grocery stores, total wine, liquor stores, whoever wants one. 3. Tax, tax, tax. 4. Charge a renewal fee of 20k.

1/3 of an acre is too big for you to walk around? Dude. It's not that much property. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy some brush killer. Get the large spray container (one you have to pump up or that has a squeeze sprayer). Buy some cheap gloves (you'll be throwing them away). Put on some pants and a long sleeve shirt. Pull your socks up as far as they will go. Walk outside, spray the iv
