This a sorta like RG3 bragging about how tough he played against the Cowboys if he walked off the field before halftime and went home.

It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. I flew into there expecting to see the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline. Instead, it was just farms and fields as far as the eye could see. The airport seemed kind of nice. Sorta huge like Dulles but more modern.

I like that too as far their older stuff is concerned. I also think Get Off My Cloud, Under My Thumb, and Let's Spend the Night Together are some of their better early songs.

Off the top of my head I'd add stuff like Soul Survivor, Moonlight Mile, Loving Cup, Live With Me, and Silver Train to the 'best of list". Tumbling Dice and Start Me Up are overplayed but I like them. Honky Tonk Woman definitely belongs on the list of crap, and I'd add "Angie" to that list too. Oh, and All Down the Line is up there on the best of list too.

I was never a fan of Jagger's showmanship, that fruity dancing on videos from the 80s and late 70s. They were sort of a come-back band by then, nowhere near the height of their late 60s/early 70s material. I always liked the way they were sorta badass during that time, unapologetically singing about drugs, fucking chicks, and living the rock and roll life. They weren't wholesome. You didn't w

Somerset is pretty close to the Flight 93 Memorial. It's not hiking but probably worth visiting if you're in that area.

It's pretty mind-boiggling (to me) that any rock fan could sit down and listen to albums like Beggars Banquet or Exile on Main Street, and say "these guys are not good musicians." At least I don't have to look up "The Rolling Stones" everytime I hear their name, like I do when I hear Ginger Baker's name, so that I can remember what he did. Seriously? The guy who drummed on "White Room" and

LA made a move for the Vikings a few years ago, they'd probably end up there. Three in NFL teams in FL is too many anyway. And it's sorta ridiculous that LA's got two bball, baseball, and hockey teams but no NFL squad.

Jesse Ventura was on Stern last week, and they asked him to comment on a bunch of popular conspiracy theories. When Stern asked him about the birther conspiracy, Ventura said he did not believe it. But, he really believes that President Obama is a former CIA asset. Something to do with Obama's mother working for the State Dept., Obama's overseas travel as a kid, and a shadowy globalist commi

That's a big problem for the Republicans. But it's also a reason why they're a success. Take George W Bush for example, the guy sounded as dumb as a truck driver, but the average Republican loved him for it.

I re-read Hunt for Red October earlier this year, I had forgotten what an awesome book it is. It's probably been almost twenty years since I read Cardinsl of the Kremlin, but I do remember thinking it was his best book, I might have to pull that out again and re-read it.
