Actually I really wouldn't be surprised if Carmax was telling the truth in this case. The car we traded in was a 2000 Neon, baseline really, not fancy at all. The place we bought the Neon from was EXTREMELY shady. I think it's Auto Express out on the way to Manassas Park. At the time our credit sucked so we were having a hard time getting any financing. At the time we sold it, the blue book

Today we purchased a used car at Carmax and gave'em our trade in. After they came back with the appraisal, they told us that the car we were trading in had frame repair and numerous other things. When we purchased the car we traded in, we were not told that the car was in a collision of that sort and had frame work done on it, which from what I hear is illegal to withold such information when a

Water is FFX County Water Trash, the HOA handles the trash service. I live in the Greentrails area. Trash is every Tuesday and Friday. Not sure about gas.

I'm surprised some of you still make the decision to put any of those channels on. None of them value MUSIC anymore so what's point. They seriously should think about dropping the names MTV and VH1 for something more fitting.

Well first off, if this has to do with any public park lakes etc then alcohol isn't allowed on park property at all. As for being drunk PRIOR to arriving at the park and getting in your boat, who knows. Obviously they're talking about stopping boats so they'll be checking people when they're already in their boat I'm guessing. I wonder how you would do a sobriety test in a rocking boat. Guess

Yeah that spot of 28 is stupid. They lower the speed limit when it should stay at 55, then raise it to 55 when it SHOULD be dropped to 45 because of all of the traffic lights. And since NO ONE goes 55 in that section they might as well drop it to 45.

I'd stay away from sweetwater. I'm still trying to figure out why it's always so packed. EVERYTHING is over priced, from the beer to the food. The servings of food are tiny for how much they charge, and I really don't think their beer is really that great. It's not bad, but it's not the best local beer I've had thats for sure. Texas Roadhouse is pretty damn good. Best chinese food I think I

The iPod itself is actually a great design and is functionally superior to a lot of HD based mp3 players. That said, iTunes can SUCK MY BALLS! I HATE iTunes. My wife bought an iPod and I've been the one to manage adding mp3's etc. The player itself depends on using some form of library/database management tool on your computer in order to properly add/remove music from your iPod, which I true

Dells are pretty good laptops. And if you ever need to get service done on it, they're pretty quick. I've had to return a few of our Inspirons for repair. They next day a box to you and you next day it back (free of charge). Usually I'll get the repaired unit back within 5-7 working days from the day I shipped it. I haven't heard a whole lot about Toshibas. But I have heard their CS isn't al

I didn't go to my 10 year reunion. I was too busy getting married. I think I chose the better option as HS (and the people in my graduating class) was pretty lame in the first place.

I agree with rstidman. Sony uses crap hardware. I bought a vaio a few years ago and all I had with it were problems. First the damn thing wouldn't boot up half the time. After they found out what the problem was they did a recall after the warrenty period was up. But even though it was a recall they STILL charged for the service. Then about a year after I owned it the hinges on the thing br

I'm sure it's not worth it. It's usually a mob scene and most of the stuff they have aren't worth dealing with the plethora of people there. And I really doubt the rides are all that great. You're probably better off taking the trip to Kings Dominion.

I haven't been to Sho-Chiku but I've heard from a friend it was decent. As for Copelands I wouldn't be surprised if it was because that location didn't get enough business. That area in Centreville seems to be very empty lately when it comes to retail stores. Also, it seems that entire shopping center is slowly being taken over by asian stores. So that might have attributed to it as well. Ma

I'm assuming you're talking about accidentally taking the exit for the CIA off of the GW Parkway or something? Either way...it's quite surprising that she did it 3 times. I mean the sign isn't that small.

I thought I'd make a little addition to the thread I started. Just got back from a place in C-ville that actually wasn't too bad. We went to Hama Sushi several times before and enjoyed it a lot. Today we tried to go there but it was closed for lunch. So we decided to go to the place in C-ville that is right next to the what is now permanently closed Copelands. The prices are a bit higher the

I dunno. I went to 7-11 the other day. Went to get a drink from the coolers in the back and it wouldn't scan. So the moron behind the desk says "won't scan, can't buy" He refused to go look at the price and punch it in. Goes to show you how far you can get with no education.

I wouldn't buy it for $400. We bought 12 of those laptops at my work and more then half had to be returned to dell so far for random hardware issues. I have another one I need to send back because I think something is wrong with the motherboard. When you move the screen the onboard (not wireless) nic looses connection and also looses AC power. The others have had problems with the screen gett

Just got back from the 7:30 showing in Centreville. Didn't have to stand in line to get tickets since I purchased them April 21st. But we did have to stand in line to get good seats. Only a couple of little kids with darth vader helmets. Thats about it. It was actually rather tame when the movie started as well. I saw Episode I on opening night at the Uptown. As soon as STAR WARS showed up

According to the wife, she saw a metallic blue mustang with someone pulled over. Not the most recent body style. Not sure how old though as I was not there. The windows were tinted very dark and the flashing lights were mounted high on the front windshield and rear window. From the how she described his uniform (yes, he was in full uniform), it sounded like a state trooper. On route 50, real

Yeah...after looking at that map..it's the wrong segment of colchester road it's pointing out. Colchester off of Chapel road is the wrong part...and they AREN'T connected. Take Popes Head to Colchester and turn onto colchester and go straight until it brings you right under the bridge.

Those are some interesting directions to bunnyman bridge. I usually come from centreville, but if you're coming from 7100, I would imagine you'd want to turn onto Popes Head Road. If you're coming from the reston area on 7100, turn right on popes head. If you're coming from Springfield area, turn left. Follow popes head until you get to the 4 way stop (forget what the name of the road is). T

The restaurant and type of sushi make a big difference. First time I tried sushi, it was in a really crappy place and I think it was sitting out for too long, fish wasn't fresh, etc cuz it was supposed to be tuna and tasted REALLY fishy. Also starting out with the rolls helps. Jumping right into sashimi (a big slice of fish on top of a bit of rice) is quite difficult if you aren't already used

Went to Hama Sushi tonight. That was some pretty damn good sushi. The wife LOVED the Tiger Rolls. Definitly better then the place we have gone to twice before. Previously we went to Bamboo in Manassas Park. Basically recommended by Washington Post. They were ok. Not bad and not too expensive, but Hama Sushi was definitly better.
