The best thing about the 4/23 segment during which Mike continues to obsess about the online trolls/critics is that he CONTINUES to go back to how there is always a "political" subtext to it. He truly, truly believes he is being persecuted because of his courageous liberal stances.

So I haven't listened to TMOS forever and I haven't checked in here, because, well, frankly, the derailers' tactics are, you know, working, but someone just pointed me to the opening segment of the April 6 show. It's worth a listen-- Mike losing his mind because a "vocal minority" of listeners keep "hijacking the narrative" about the show. Apparently they tried to do a call-in segment, and a coup

I've given up trying to explain that, whether or not Mike knows this thread exists (he does, but who cares), cares about it (he seems to, but who cares), or wishes us well or ill (he seems to hate us, but who cares) isn't the point. It's not the purpose of this thread to evoke any kind of response from TMOS, to change the content of the show, to make the crew's life any better or any worse. It'

I hate to admit it, but I read the whole "Gallagher/Gallagher Too" post. Could do without the pics, but if Gallagher guy just posted random things about Gallagher, I probably wouldn't mind him.

These are the people who insist that *we* take TMOS too seriously. State fan club presidents. If FFXU is Dumb Cubed, they're taking it to, like...whatever comes after cubed. Dumb Gallagher'd.

The guys ripping on SDM today was AH-MAY-ZING. Tard-on-tard violence is literally the only sane reason to tune in to TMOS these days. Mike turning on Robb for being too "flip" in discussing SDM during the whole thing was nice as well. Also enjoy Mike ripping on SDM to the tune of, "Go do an appearance for Buzz," a reference to the fact that SDM coordinated RELM events when they were setting u

Potentially unpopular opinion: Robb is capable of not sucking. There was a time, early on, when Robb was arguably the hardest worker on the show. And no one will deny the fact that when he buckled down and got his shit together, the way he embarrassed Mike with his weight loss around 2012 was kind of great. I remember his old phone-a-tranny bits on Don and Mike really were laugh out loud funny.

Mike caustically analyzing the pilot's job performance, drawing upon Mike's years of experience as a pilot, is pretty amazing.

"Jimmy's Old Town Tavern" always struck me as the laziest, lamest name for a bar conceivable. It's a blatant ripoff of Gary's Olde Town Tavern from "Cheers." Literally the only less original bar name would be "Cheers." Oh, look, the slogan of JOTT is "Where everyone is treated like a regular." Because apparently "Where everybody knows your name" is copyrighted.

The trolls in this thread work harder every day than any given member of the TMOS crew. Do you think Mike would spend the amount of time Gallagher guy spends stringing together images, or Scat Guy does in writing his little vignettes? Even "semper Peekza" guy tends to come up with new porn whenever he posts. Granted, the entertainment value of the Thread trolls and TMOS proper are about equ

So, I had the thought that all of the Gallagher spam had kind of a Spewakian feel to it, so out of curiosity, I went to HBS's Facebook profile to see if Gallagher was among his "likes." It's, uh...all porn and fetish models. Dozens, and dozens, and dozens, of porn and fetish models. I mean, there are a few politicians mixed in to his "likes," notably Bernie Sanders and Michelle Obama, but t

If Mike never paying attention to what Robb says, thus requiring him to ask the question mere seconds later, was, like, a bit, it'd be excellent. Sadly...it's not a bit. Re: Fitbit...it's my observation that the people most often spotted with Fitbits are people who have tried and failed, repeatedly, to lose weight or improve their health. They think that a piece of technology and/or outside r

About 44 minutes in. Robb starts muting Oscar's mic at around 47:00, though it's all pretty good-natured. Also enjoy Mike opining that the vast majority of the listeners of TMOS are "unknown to anyone." Yes, yes they are, Mike. Also wanna shout out to the shit posters, pulling their weight to get us to #TMOSThreadPage1K. Keep it up.

So, proving that FFXU is a net positive for TMOS-- after reading these posts, I went back to watch Robb getting kicked. First...this podcast sounds like ass. There is feedback and weird crackling. The silences are all filled with a high pitched whine. Awful. Second...if THIS was the podcast, Robb just getting the shit kicked out of him every day, I would listen religiously. Outstanding conten

*wakes up* What'd we do? What? Who's getting sued? GOD, I wish that were actually SDM and he was actually calling a lawyer. The Thread-- not to mention the Thread Wankipedia-- is in desperate need of actual content, given that TMOS is averse to supplying any these days. The irony of the new crop of shit/scroll trolls is that they probably annoy Mike much more than they annoy us, insofar as they make it more difficult for Mike to wade through and read posts about himself on The Thread. I've said it before: for as much as Mike hates being criticized, he loves attention, and thus has a secret love of The Thread. The recent troll posts have nothing to do with Mike,
