Woodbridge man impaled by own lance in 'freak accident'
A Woodbridge man died Saturday after he was impaled by his own lance in an accident during a Medieval reenactment at a Kentucky event.
Peter Barclay, 52, was a retired Army lieutenant colonel, the Washington Post reports. He was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, the group’s president, John Fulton, told the paper.
