Heh. Good to see nothing ever changes. My recommendation would be to allow it on the condition that whatever happens be aired on a live Web feed. A royalty, of course, being payable (you decide the rate and if residuals are included).

This topic comes up every two years or so. As I said last time, I've eaten at some pretty damned fine establishments (Russian Tea Room, Citronelle, La Cote Basque, Tavern on the Green, Restaurant Eve, and -recently- Inn at Little Washington and Restaurant Eve). For what you pay, I think the Great American Restaurants are a good deal. The food is somewhat creative, and the service is attentive.

OK. A general district court is the low level Virginia court. They'll hear misdemeanor cases, traffic, and civil litigation - including claims for monetary damages of under $15,000 (ONLY GDCs hear cases under less than IIRC $4,500 or $5,000). My boss has flown Newark to Sinapore. 21 hours IIRC. A very, very long flight. But a lot of that flight is over land - depending on routing.
