IANAL but I'm not sure you can expect anyone to do anything about it. It's on their property, right? If you don't have an HOA to beat up on them, I think you're SOL. Not beating up on you, but consider: "My neighbor has really ugly landscaping" Would you expect anyone (again, short of an HOA, if then) to take any action? This is why subdivisions have HOAs. And they have their upside (keeping t

Definitely an above average incidence of "above average". But it's The Farmer's Almanac, which is fiction anyway.

Gotta say, this thread reminds me of the one about whether Superman could beat Mighty Mouse: the one kid says "Obviously Superman, because Mighty Mouse is a cartoon character, and Superman is a real guy!"

Way back when I was young and stupid, a buddy suggested we drive for a pizza. Six hours away. "Best pizza I've ever had", he swore. So we did. When we got there, it had gone out of business long before. So we wound up at a Pizza Hut. This was almost 40 years ago, but yep, dumb dumb dumb! And not ashamed to admit it. But we did have fun.

Not disagreeing that the company were dipshits, but this is Virginia, where they can fire you because it's Tuesday. I wish her luck, but I suspect it will be an uphill battle

If only there was some way to search for information on some sort of computer network. Oh well, guess we'll have to ask questions here. Hey, look: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/07/abercrombie-fitch-to-close-60-more-stores-shares-surge.html

I do not, and it might be more ambitious than you want to be, but there are devices, such as https://yellr.com/index.htm , that allege to make it easy. Or just buy a GPS and use that to measure your actual speed. My primary vehicle over-reads by a couple of MPH at 60. I figure this is actually mostly good, keeps me from speeding quite as much as I think I am. Yes, it's bad in terms of warranty c

The C and D concourses at IAD are "temporary". That's why the train stops a half-mile from the C gates: it stops where the C gates are *supposed* to be, if and when they ever get replaced. Mind you, these "temporary" concourses have been there for over 30 years. Must be some definition of "temporary" with which I am unfamiliar...

BJ's if you have a membership. Propane Taxi is convenient--I haven't used it but my neighbor swears by it. If it saves you time and costs the same as Lowes, that's a win.
