Discovered today that the School Clinicians at a local FCPS ES have no means to get vital signs for a student undergoing physical distress. Would be a good idea to get them the equipment and training to check heart rate and blood pressure, might save a life one day. What do you say, FFX County?

A great starter scope would be a manually-controlled scope and mount combination. The scope itself needs a mount and tripod upon which to rest - and these items can be sold together or individually. A lot of folks in the area seriously need to get over themselves. It would be way cool to have larger cycling events in FFX county, where most streets are shut down for cycling races or volks-rides. That's right, just shut down the whole daggone rat race and let everyone ride their bikes for fun....no cars, buses, trucks, just bikes on the roads, even if only for one day in the year.

Go out and catch Sirius at SSE, all of you telescope wielders. And Saturn is up at ESE at 2330 - should be a good show.

Incredible moonrise this evening - as orange as you can get, nearly full, was able to zoom at 160x for nice details of ridges and craters on the edge. Also fun when a goose traversed the field of view in front of the moon - cool silhouette.
