I'm kind of all for the PD chopper...so this guy was minor...but a REAL bad guy would also be hard pressed to evade "the eye in the sky". What I would oppose is a redundant Fire Dept chopper(s) that they were talking about a while back. I think the looming budget meltdown should take of that...no fire dept brass flying their girlfriends around up there towing Support Jerry's Kids banners!

It's kind of a reverse robbery if they left you something! And how did they break into your car if you "forgot to lock" it?

Why do people put stupid stuff on their cars that say STOP ME....and then wonder why they get stopped?

It seems to me that you all are wasting precious time...there are limited slots in private/parochial schools. Plus, you need to figure out where you're going to get the tuition. I'm sure most of your HELOCs are maxed out...so this could be a real problem...maybe even requiring a second job? Better log off and get to work...Flint Hill might soon be tougher to get into than TJ!

And furthermore, parent800....how exactly would you handle a large crowd of ME Generation parents? You people are the types that attack kiddy league refs and coaches when things don't go your way. FCPS and FCPD were pro-active, in my view, by splitting you up into small groups. Bloody riots have started over less! BTW, I'm acquainted with a fellow who served with Dean Tistadt in Vietnam...he

What good are emergency alerts? The dumb fucks around here can't observe basic traffic laws...and they're going to follow directions in an emergency? C'mon!

Shit, you guys are kids! When I started driving...once you passed Waple Mill Rd heading west on 50...there wasn't nuthin but dairy farms all the way to the Loudoun line (and beyond). No I-66, no Greenbriar, no CHS....just cows, grass and a few gas stations.

The Texaco sign is still there. The Clifton general store is a bad, bad place for a drunk to stop for another six-pack. I live nearby and can't tell you how many times I've seen a cop putting somebody through the field sobriety tests. I'm sure the Town wouldn't allow a modern joint like Davis there in town. I loved the old Davis General Store....bought many a roll of barbed wire in there!

My niece attended South Lakes with Mohamed Atta (Class of '86). She says he was a great guy except for the fan belts he wore on his head. Sadly, Mohamed died in a plane crash some years later... PS: It's not South Lake's fault...Mohamed was pupil placed from Chantilly.

Don't buy ANYTHING! The housing market hasn't come close to hitting bottom. In a few years you'll be able to buy nice single family home on a decent size lot for way less than you'll pay for that damn rowhouse now.

The best way to avoid jury duty is to not be registered to vote. They say they also pick jurors from the real estate rolls...but I think the (vast) majority come from voter registration. I've been called a few times...but I always get B O R I N G civil cases...lawsuits over contracts and stuff. I listen carefully and still don't know what the fuck they're talking about! I hope I get a juicy

I think malls are going the way of the dinosaur...thank goodness. I haven't been in one in about 25 years...HATE 'em. I especially hate how big department stores cover all the walls with mirrors...and other tricks to help you get lost in the fucking place. I've read the new hot retail thing is like Fair Lakes....a bunch of big box stores arranged in a row or an otherwise concentrated area. I

I have to laugh at these assholes bragging about their "hemis". Sure, the new hemis have hemispherical combustion chambers....but they are NOT the fabled Mopar hemi of old. I had a 1970 hemi'Cuda when I was a kid that ran low 11's in the quarter mile...and that was bone stock. There is a reason that top fuel and funny car dragsters STILL use this motor today. The marketing gurus brought ba
