Killing walkers with ease and their speed issues may be a result of time (or maybe I'm reading way too far into it). But if you're that good at killing them by now, shouldn't you be able to hear them or sense them around you in a building? The biggest issue I have with the effects is the head damage they show. Yes a skull can be crushed but generally it won't be obliterated with one heel strike

It's going to rally the troops. The Gov isn't going to go back and say that biters got the guys he is going to say he offered Rick a deal and the prison group attacked and killed the guys that got eaten. As a veteran of OEF (that's Afghanistan to those who wouldn't otherwise know) I was at least somewhat vindicated by bin Laden's death but vets and those KIA in OIF were killed or injured in vain. There is no reason a single bullet or drone strike couldn't have done the same for Iraq that the invasion and subsequent 10 years and however many lost lives did.
