Regardless of lineage, I still contend: When the day comes that US citizens can live and work anywhere in central and south American - without a visa - using their kids as a gateway to government funded benefits and services, and buy property where ever they want, without restrictions ..... THEN I may reassess my opinon of the "perceived rights" of illegal aliens in the US. Mexico takes im

Tell you what, when the day comes that US citizens can travel freely anywhere in central and south American - without a visa - using their kids as the gateway for government funded benefits and services, and buy property where ever they want, without restrictions ..... Then I may re-assess the "perceived rights" of illegal aliens in the US. FYI: My grandmother is a full-blooded Algonquin, w

The battle on immigration has NOT been lost - however the battle with the politicians to do their job may be on a slippery slope. Politicians REFUSE to implement the tools that prevent illegal aliens from getting work and receiving benefits. Even McDonnel is backing away from implementing E-Verify in the Commonwealth for fear it will "offend" the small businesses that rely on the cheap labor

The parents should be thrown in jail. What parent in their right mind would send a 6-year old kid to school with a camping "swiss army knife?" The kid may have known how to handle it ... IF ... it remained in his possession at all times, but what if older kids decided they wanted the knife to "settle a score" with a rival? What if the kid put up a fight and was injured by his own camping "sw

If disciplinary action is not taken, this could spin off in many directions. Example: Cuccinelli has said publicly that Pharmacists should have the right to decide which prescriptions they will fill based on their religious convictions. Same thing: A licensed pharmacist can say, "the law says this prescription for birth control has to be filled, it's just not going to be filled by me."

I don't care what the people of walmart look like as long they keep shopping there. They're spending money, which increases the value of their stock, which makes me a very happy camper.

Acquaintances living in the UK and France are very troubled by Obama's overt dissing of the people and country he was elected to serve as leader. They said this it totally unacceptable for a national leader and if their leaders did that they would have their walking papers handed to them when they returned.

Because they are looking out for what is most important to them - retaining their seats in Congress Democrats have always been fence sitters. When legislation gets controversial, they freeze up and do nothing.

She also said if they try to sneak in the public option, she will reverse her vote. And a couple others said their votes are conditional on what is "merged" in from the House Bill. The fat lady hasn't even made it to the stage to sing her aria yet. There is still some serious dueling to be done and I predict it will be after Thanksgiving before they have anything that vaguely resembles a fin

For Pgens: And then do insurance providers compete across state lines, or continue with the same process of responding to State RFPs? Each state has a Bureau of Insurance that oversees and mandates coverage for the selected insurance providers within the states. To retain the Bureau of Insurance offices at the state levels seems redundant and an added layer of goverment that we may not need
