I saw a bunch of black people in yellow vests doing this at the interesection of 123 and Braddock Rd. near George Mason University on Friday Afternoon. The traffic was very busy and they probably made a killing. They looked kind of offical, like they represented an organization but didn't mention one and had no signage, so, yes, I think they were scamming people. We didn't give anything.

Edit: It's not Wedgewood, it's Fairmont Gardens The cops are at Fairmont Gardens quite a bit. There have been some murders there, this incident is relatively minor.
