Get this story straight from Assange by watching the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kp7FkLBRpKg That video is summarized as follows: "Julian Assange seems to suggests on Dutch television program Nieuwsuur that Seth Rich was the source for the Wikileaks-exposed DNC emails and was murdered." Assange strongly suggests that Rich was a source, but he then backs away from expressly identifyi

Per FCPD twitter feed, Gallows Road is closed between Cedar Lane and Electric Ave. Apparently, this follows a bank robbery at the nearby Merrifield Wells Fargo (near corner of Lee Hwy and Gallows) by a man claiming to have a bomb in some sort of container or backpack that he had. The alleged perp is in custody. The road closure is to bring in bomb squad to make sure that there is no bomb. See

Hillary still on stage with Kaine per NBC 4 news 6 minutes back. Three people in line overcome by heat and taken by ambulance. Kaine and Clinton walked out at the same same time. Kaine opened by speaking in Spanish and the NBC 4 video showed numerous Hispanics behind stage. Unclear if they are citizens, legal aliens, or illegals (aka "undocumented Democrats").

Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine will campaign together at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA. Avoid the area if you don't want to get caught in traffic. Event starts about 1 pm and the area could be jammed after the event ends, probably about 330 to 5 pm. If you are going to the event, check your white privilege. If yo

Baby found and is safe in Child Protective Services now. Rescued by FBI in Hyattsville, MD. FBI took mother in custody and she is now in PG County Jail, awaiting extradition to VA. WUSA 9 says that their reporter located the car through a source. WUSA called it in to the police. Not sure why the mother lost custody of the child, but apparently there is a court order against the mother.

Just for the record: it turned out to be a single perp. He robbed 4 pedestrians at gunpoint and fired at least two shots (into the ground or air) to intimidate those victims. DC police went to the scene based on their shot spotter devices. As the police were approaching, the perp jumped in an SUV with 5 innocent people in it, trying to use them to get away. Perp then shot numerous times at poli

Missing child is a 6 week old 9 lb baby girl believed by police to be in extreme danger. Baby is apparently the daughter of the suspect/mother as pictured above. Police obtained an arrest warrant for parental abduction. Suspect is Flora Khatun, a female who is 5-foot-2 and 120 pounds with brown/black hair, brown eyes and wearing a black T-shirt and black yoga pants. Curiously, some reports

What follows is Obama speaking, on Thursday, about the shootings by police in MN and Louisiana before the massacre of police in Dallas later that day: I want to begin by expressing my condolences for the families of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. As I said in the statement that I posted on Facebook, we have seen tragedies like this too many times. The Justice Department, I know, has opene

EPIC FAIL. The Dems were chanting "No bill, no break." Now there will be a break, but there is no bill. Now, imagine how the press would have written these stories if GOP had forcibly seized the House floor to try to block the Obamacare bill. The current media spin is "Dems mount unprecedented action of conscience to save lives of innocents and fight the evil NRA/GOP." A similar GOP action t

The WaPo, like most of drive-by media are attack dogs biting any Republican, especially a conservative. They are lapdogs to the Democrats, especially Dem Presidents and Dem liberals. The bias goes way beyond simple partisan politics to encompass notions of what good government should do. More generally, WaPo and mainstream media, also emphasize liberal ideas, theories, beliefs, or memes (even if

I second the suggestion of Sky Meadows State Park. It's very nice, but IIRC there is an admission charge at least on weekends. It's unclear how far you're willing to walk and how far you want to drive to get to the hike. Catoctin Mountain Park and nearby Cunningham Falls State Park in Maryland near Thurmont, MD have some nice hikes. George Washington National Forrest just over an hour west of

In a surprising act of journalism, the Washington Post (WaPo) actually reports on Virginia Governor McAuliffe's flustercuck of a clemency order on June 2, 2016 as follows: McAuliffe’s clemency order comes under scrutiny RICHMOND — Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) mistakenly restored the right to vote to several violent felons currently in prison or on supervised probation, as part of his sweeping cle

Chesapeake Dock Dogs will have a free demonstration on Sat May 14 from 1 to 4 pm at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston. I saw one of these demonstrations last year. Photos are below. In the 6th photo, it only looks like the dog is jumping next to the canoe. In reality, the canoe was at least ten feet beyond the line of jump of the dog. Most of the dogs were true champions, four-legged athletes. They ju

Four injured in total. The guy pinned by the car, the driver of the car, and two others injured in the chaos. Unclear the extent of the last two injuries and details of how they occurred, but apparently they (last two) will be OK. This is per NC8 a few minutes ago.

NC8 just showed video of about 3 civilians pulling or helping injured driver out of vehicle on fire. They pulled him out just before the fire fully engulfed the Hummer. I think the video, made by a witness, shows the driver, but NC8 inserted text box covering part of the video. Therefore, you can't see the driver.
