Shield’s son played and was limping around. He threw for two touchdowns but played really bad and had no business being out there. They brought in a qb that has been their best WR for a few plays. I don’t now what happened to the backup one who has played before. Maybe Shields ran them off too.

Cville lost two qbs(both Resto Boys) , all region LB( Badi) a RB/starting safety(Somers) another lb (Waters..not the one who graduated last year ) and few more from what I heard but can’t confirm that.

Don’t really think there was a size difference. 50 and 54 for Cville are not big. I agree with the playing calling. Running a WR sweep 2 times for zero yards. Running a half back throw 2 times in the red zone. Only threw two deeps balls to the WR, one to the TE that the QB made a bad throw. And the rest were 5 yard outs. There’s never motion or misdirection. So bland. Easy to defend that. They

Wasn’t winning about the scoring and yes Ragland scored because Sheilds put the staters back in when Chantilly didn’t pull theirs. He could have laid 70 on them if he wanted too. I was winning about the game lasting 3 hours.

Chantilly scored 28 points on Cville’s back ups to make the score closer than it was. They kept the starters in the whole game. The refs were horrible too. 3 hour game. Ridiculous

Don’t blame that game on injuries. They never had a chance. Had one good drive all night. The refs called as many penalties against Cville as they could and didn’t matter. Westfield got smacked…possibly a rematch in 2 weeks

Sometimes you get what you get when it comes to scheduling better teams. Some schools don’t want to travel too far so they are fighting each other to strengthen the schedule. Stonebridge did it right. They loaded up with potential power points. But would like to see a change of some sort once regional finals and states begin
